Dear Jane Quilt, Week 3

The sewing mojo was good to me this week and I got 6 - count 'em SIX - Dear Jane blocks finished!  woot!  Granted, a couple of 'em were pretty easy, but whatevs - a finish is a finish!

I'm super diggin' the aqua, red and white, and I LOVE that little polka dot in the background. You know I love the polka dots...

Here are this week's blocks!

block A4

block B9

block B13

block C1
block J7
block N9

The progress thus far:

If you were going to make a Dear Jane (or any kind of sampler, like a Farmer's Wife), which colors would you gravitate toward?

Also, if you haven't entered the Hexie Pillow Kit Giveaway, you can still enter through the right-hand Rafflecopter widget. The Giveaway will close on Monday the 5th.

Happy Stitching!

Kelly

How do you decide on the background fabric in Dear Jane quilts? Do you have to pay attention to where the block fits in the overall scheme of things or is it completely random. By the way, I love your choice of colors. This will be a happy quilt.

I love your happy quilt!!!

I think if I did a sampler quilt I would probably use lots of pinks. It seems my stash is full of pinks.

BTW>>>I LOVE YOUR BOOK!!!!!!!
